Rojas Ranch is a working horse farm located in the town of Coopertown in northern Tennessee. Nestled in the hills of Robertson County, the ranch is surrounded by beautiful wooded areas and magnificent green pastures.
Located only 30 miles north of Nashville the Ranch enjoys a relaxed country atmosphere while being close to all the amenities of the City. Rojas Ranch has the only true low level Cross Country Course in Middle Tennessee.
Br> The Indoor arena allows you to ride throughout the year. It is a pole building and it is not completely enclosed which makes it cooler in the summer. It is 60x100 feet, a little smaller than a small dressage arena, but large enough to work on most movements. The footing is sand and we have a sprinkler system to keep it moist and reduce the dust. The arena is lighted, so it is possible to ride anytime a day.
The Outdoor arena is used as a dressage arena. The footing has just been re-done 4 inches of 5/12-dust bluestone topped with rubber. It drains very well and it is possible to ride even after a moderate rain. The arena has a 2% grade which is hardly noticeable but allows for good drainage. The arena has lights which allows to ride late at night, specially during the summer.
The Cross Country Course runs through the back of the property looping around in the pastures. There is a starting Box and Seventeen Jumps arranged around the Course. each one has an 18", 24", and 30" area. It is approximately one mile and it is somewhat demanding; there are long hills and a couple of short steeper hills. Its not an easy ride!
