TAEP - Help

The TAEP Account Portal is an account management system that allows TAEP participants to view information about their account online. Participants can apply (Application A only), upload their reimbursement request, view their TAEP history and check the status of their application and reimbursement request.
Producers who have not participated in TAEP previously will NOT have an online account. You do not need an online account in order to apply online during the application period.
If you have participated in TAEP in the past, click on the "Account Set Up" button on the TAEP Account Portal page. When prompted, provide the following information:

  • Applicant's Email address (and confirmation)
  • Applicant’s TAEP Producer Number (TPN)
  • Applicant’s TAEP ID number
  • Choose and record your selected security questions and answers
  • Submit

You will be emailed a password. Please check your spam/junk folder if email does not appear in your inbox. Add taep.online@tn.gov to your address book to ensure that emails go directly to your inbox.

After you receive your password, return to TAEP Account Portal and log in using your TAEP Producer Number (TPN) and password.

This number is a unique identifier tied to your account and is confidential. The TAEP ID number has been supplied to producers who have previously participated in TAEP. This number is also featured on Document A of your reimbursement paperwork.

The TAEP Producer Number (TPN) is a seven (7) digit number used to identify each applicant. The TPN is exclusive to an individual and cannot be transferred. If you applied for TAEP within the last three years, your TPN will be emailed to you in September. The TPN is also featured on Document A of your reimbursement paperwork. Please include your TPN on the application form and any other TAEP correspondence. New TAEP applicants will not have a TPN until their first application is processed.

All your TAEP Information is connected to your TAEP Producer Number (TPN).

I have entered my TAEP Producer Number (TPN) and I have received an error message. What do I do?

Be sure that you are entering your seven (7) digit TAEP Producer Number (TPN) not your premises account or ID number. If you are sure that you are using the correct number, email taep.online@tn.gov for assistance. Please include your name, address and a daytime phone number.

TAEP will use the email address listed to communicate important information about your account, such as approvals, disapprovals or notices about reimbursements. Add taep.online@tn.gov to your address book to ensure that emails go directly to your inbox.

Please email taep.online@tn.gov to update your contact information. Include your name and TPN along with your update request.

Use the Reimbursement tab to download a copy.

Email taep.online@tn.gov if any of the reimbursement instructions are not showing on your account page. Be sure to list the program you are approved for as well as your contact information including a daytime phone number.

Reimbursement requests can be uploaded via the TAEP Account Portal. Log in to your account and use the Reimbursement tab.
